READ the following carefully and click I AGREE to proceed to VIDEO enrollments
Wyatt Institute has offered live classroom instruction for decades in the upstate of South Carolina. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the South Carolina Real Estate Commission has temporarily approved online video instruction through our school. Wyatt Institute is glad to be able to continue offering the Unit 2 Advanced Real Estate Principles class through the medium of internet as online video courses.
-
Students must watch pre-recorded videos of classroom instruction. While the videos are not interactive, students may email to ask questions of an available teacher. (Note: There may be a rare occasion when an instructor may not immediately be available, but we will have an instructor respond to your question(s) as soon as we are able.)
-
The same materials used in the classroom are provided with the video program. This includes a textbook and/or notebook with the classroom outline and all handouts and quizzes.
-
The video format allows the student to take a bit longer to complete the course than in the classroom format. Unit 2 must be completed within 21 calendar days. Do not enroll in a course unless you expect to be able to complete the course within the required time. All video courses should be completed by December 16, 2021, to include passing both onsite tests. The Real Estate Commission will not extend the date beyond 12/31/2021. The last day to enroll in this video course is 〈November 22, 2021〉.
-
Students must report to video coordinator after each module video is completed. Email requests will be fulfilled at these time slots during the day: 9:15A, 1:15P, and 5:15P (Mon – Thurs) and 9:15A, 12:15P (on Fridays). Please ensure that your email/video requests are submitted at least 30 mins prior to any of these respective times; otherwise you might have to wait until the next response time. Also, please request any weekend videos before noon on Friday.
-
Module quizzes must be taken in person at the Wyatt Institute office, before the end date of your class. Quizzes can be taken all at once or spread out after each video completed. Students will schedule these quizzes through the video coordinator. See the class terms and policies for more details for this specific class.
-
The student should have a screen large enough so that they can read the PowerPoint presentations on the video. Phone screens are not appropriate. A computer monitor or tablet should be adequate. Either a PC or a Mac should be acceptable. Since the videos are offered through the internet, internet service is required.
-
The student must complete an enrollment form on our website (available after clicking ‘I Agree‘ below) or at the office.
-
The tuition must be paid in full before textbook, materials, and login information will be provided.
-
The student may pick up textbook and materials from the office or may opt to have them mailed for an additional charge.
-
The student must complete the course within the timeframe required. The time requirement includes taking onsite quizzes. Students must score a grade of 70% or higher to pass the Unit 2 exams. Students should expect to be at the office for 30 mins for each quiz or up to 2 ½ hours if taking all [5] quizzes on same day. All video courses must be completed no later than December 16, 2021. Absolutely no exceptions.
